Description
A rounded tree reaching 15' in height and width. Flowers showy rose-pink, single. Fruit ellipsoid, glossy red, changing with frosts to orange, persistent until spring; a heavy bearer. Moderate scab susceptibility that does not affect foliage or fruit. There appear to be several clones; Lester Nichols (Penn. State) thought that the trees at Falconskeape Gardens, Medina, OH, were superior to most others by the same name. Simpson number 11-63.
