Description
Shrub or tree to 12m; branches stellate pilose-pubescent, when young, later glabrous. Leaves 6-11x3.5-6cm, elliptic or ovate to ovate-oblong, apex abruptly acuminate, base cuneate, rounded to subcordate, serrulate with bristly teeth, sparsely pubescent. Panicle corymbose, 8-15cm; flowers white; calyx 2mm, campanulate, margin truncate, 5-sometimes 4-toothed; corolla stellate-pubescent throughout, lobes 14x3.5mm; pedicel 1.3mm; stamens 10, unequal, connate below. Fruit obovoid, indehiscent, 1-1.5x1cm; 5-winged, downy.
