Description

A hybrid that combines the rich purple color of C. xjackmannii with the full, rouded form of its other parent C. `Ville de Lyon'. From June to September it produces 4" to 7" blooms with rounded sepals of deepvelvet-purple, darkening toward the edges; bronze stamens slowly change to silver, adding a brightaccent. Plants reach 8' to 10' in height.
