Description

Twining deciduous shrub. Young shoots slender, glandular-pubescent. Leaves ot 10 x 5cm, oval, deep dull green above, grey beneath, pubescent, especially beneath, ciliate, upper leaves fused forming disc. Inforesence terminal or axillary spikes of flowers in 2-3 dense whorls; corolla tube bilabiate, to 3cm, yellow-orange glandular-pubescent, outside, base saccate. Fruit yellow-red.
