I interned at the Cornell Botanic Gardens in ’09 after my first year of grad school studying landscape architecture. The experience solidified my interest in spending my career thinking about ways to incorporate nature and placemaking into the human experience. When I’m back on campus I feel particularly at home in the gardens. I appreciate the escape it offers students, faculty, staff, and visitors from around the world. It’s one of Ithaca’s greatest treasures, and I’m lucky I get to continue to be part of it through the advisory council.”

About

I’m now a registered landscape architect, and work as a senior campus planner in MIT’s Office of Campus Planning. I use my design experience to help consultants and MIT project teams collaborate successfully throughout the various phases of design and construction for landscape and building projects including consultant selection, concept and schematic design, construction, and quality assurance.
