About
I am a plant nerd who is so excited to begin her next chapter as a gardener at the Cornell Botanic Gardens! For the last three years, I have lived on the island of Nantucket, MA and in the Saratoga, NY area. In both locations I was a Garden Manager and had the pleasure of gardening on clients private estates, taking care of their perennial gardens and annual containers. This was truly an amazing and unique experience! I love working with clients to make their gardening dreams a reality. Before becoming a Garden Manager and moving to Nantucket, I was the Nursery Specialist at Lowe’s in Ithaca, NY. I was outside in the garden center helping tend to the live plants as well as helping customers with all of their gardening needs. When I am not in the garden, I am still outside hiking with my dog or kayaking with friends. You often will see me with my camera eager to capture images of the beauty around me. I received my associate’s degree in Floral Design and my bachelor’s degree in Horticulture Business Management from Morrisville State College. I continued my education to Cornell University and received my Master’s degree in Agriculture education.
