About

I joined Cornell Botanic Gardens in 2019 and work as a Greenhouse Grower at the Plant Production Facility. Through seed and propagation, I help provide the gardeners with the plants they use to make the gardens so incredible. I love the process of watching such potential within a seed come to life! It’s an amazing experience being a part of this team in one of the most beautiful places in the world!
I’m a NYS Certified Nursery and Landscape Professional (CNLP) with over 8 years of experience working as a grower and landscape designer. I have a degree in Environmental Studies: Natural Resources with a minor in Geology from Binghamton University. My backgrounds in ENVI and agriculture have allowed me to be a part of some amazing projects including helping studying path fidelity of the Yellow-Spotted Salamander, the impacts and treatment of Hemlock Woolly Adelgid in local forests and helping to develop improved protocols for treating ketosis in primiparous and multiparous lactating dairy cattle.
With a growing passion for watershed management and water quality, I have enjoyed contributing designs to companies looking to manage their runoff through retention systems. My previous career as an Outdoor Education Instructor has me hooked on outdoors sports and I love sharing that passion with other people!
