2022: A year of impact and embracing diverse cultures

Our fiscal year ended on June 30, 2022, with strong momentum in key areas. We collaborated across campus with students, faculty, staff, and alumni to create two new garden installations. And for the first time, we calculated the amount of carbon captured by our biologically diverse landscapes and quantified how it contributes to Cornell's carbon-neutral goals.

Work continues across our strategic goals: cultivate and conserve plants the the cultures they sustain (grow); nurture the unique and personal connection people have to plants (inspire); and create alliances to collectively fight the loss of biocultural diversity (connect).

This work and the positive impact it has on Cornell students and graduates, people from diverse backgrounds, and our planet relies on the financial support of donors. From our volunteers, students, and staff, thank you for helping us create a world of beauty, diversity, and hope.
