Description

A tree of 10-15m tall in its native E. China, at an elevation of 1500-1700m. The needles are spirally arranged, 15-35mm long and 2.5-3.5mm wide, shining dark green above with two silvery white bands below. The seed cones are cylindric, 7-11 — 3.5-4.5cm, pale yellowish green, ripening to light brown.
