Description

Plants to 12" in height; leaves basal and cauline, biternate or triternate; flowers 1" to 2" across, theouter sepals red, the inner violet, petals white, spurs deflexed, prominently projecting, to 1" long (DS 3). Showy Japanese species with long-spurred, pink and white flowers; deciduous clump-former (DS 278).
