Description

Small, rounded evergreen shrub reaching 3' to 6' in height and width. Foliage usually assuming a purplish tinge in cold climates. Flowers vary from white to pale rose and lilac-rose, borne in terminal, 4- to 10-flowered, umbel-like, 3" diameter trusses in May; corolla 5-lobed, about 1 1/2" wide.
