Description

Broad tree to 10 m in height; twigs glabrous, only rarely pubescent. Leaves wide, cordate-ovate, 10-25 cm long, abruptly acuminate, usually 3(-5)-lobed, rich green above, lighter green beneath with pubescent venation and red glandular spots in the vein axils. Flowers 2.5 cm wide, white, yellow inside with purple spots and stripes, crispate, held in 10-25 cm long panicles.
