Description
Plants with large single florets of slightly blue-tinted violet, opening from reddish buds. An extremely showy, heavy flowering, dependable mid-season bloomer. On the Arnold Arboretum’s list of the top 20 lilacs for New England gardens. Mechta means “dream” in Russian.
