Description
Pinnae and pinnules branch at the base to form crosses; spore progeny is comman and is only cruciate not percruciate. The plant sold as 'Victoriae' by nurseries is usually 'Cruciatum' the pinnae being forked at the point of attachment to the midrib, resembling a series of crosses along the midrib; usually crested.
