Description
Similar to 'Palibin' but with wine-red buds that open to deep pink, spicily-scented flowers; small dark green leaves show good mildew resistance. (DS 647) A Bailey Nurseries introduction, Tinkerbelle™ was developed by Neal Holland of Sheyenne Garden. This new dwarf Lilac is the result of crosses between S. meyeri 'Palibin' and S. microphylla 'Superba'. Grafted on Syringa reticulata, Tinkerbelle™ forms a superb small tree with a pleasing spicy fragrance and incredible wine-red flower buds that open in late spring. (DS 733)
