Description
The late Gary Lanham found this unusual Norway Spruce in 1994 in Kentucky, nearly 10 feet up in a mature Picea abies. The needles of 'Lanham's Beehive' are longer and thicker than other dwarf cultivars, with a slight glaucous tint. The prominent stems and buds are cinnamon-colored, and the overall effect is of a boldly textured, compact plant.
