Description
Narrow conical habit, 2-3 m. high, ascending branches, twigs very thin, yellow-green; all needles scale-like, tightly appressed, light green to yellow-green; known in England before 1855 and still widley cultivated (DS 8). "Female plant, dense, narrowly pyramidal tree, to 35 ft., nearly three times as tall as wide, differing from 'Canaertii' in having branchlets mostly yellowish-green in winter" (DS 3).
