Description

Vigorous and erect, reaching 23' in height, 18.5' in width at 20 years of age; habit uniformly wide from top to bottom, more like C. kousa than C. florida but with more branches near the ground. Effective blooming period begins about six days after that of C. florida ends; bracts rounded, overlapping, soft pink. Good field resistance to dogwood anthracnose; high resistance to dogwood borer.
