Description

Erect perennial to 1.5m, dense-branched. Stems fistulose, finely grooved, short-pubescent above. Leaves to 15cm, pinnately 5-7-foliate; petioles sulcate, glabrous or somewhat pubescent; leaflets to 9cm, oval-lanceolate, acuminate, cuneate or somewhat cordate, entire, glabrous and deep blue-green above, lighter and prominently veined beneath; petiolules short. Flowers 2cm diamater, erect, in many-flowered, terminal panicles; sepals milik white, 4, narrow-ovate or oblong-obcuneate, to 18mm, patent, glabrous, except tomentose margins; anthers glabrous. Achenes compressed, rhomboid, ribbed, subglabrous, with short, plumose-pubescent styles.
