Description

Deciduous, erect, slightly spreading tree to 7m by 7m. Bark grey, branchlets slender, young shoots slender, pubescent. Leaves to 8cm, ovate to lanceolate, acuminate, serrate, bright green above with slightly pubescent venation beneath. Flowers single, 3.5cm across, petals narrow oblong, clear shell pink, clustered to 5 at end 15cm of shoots so appears to form a single panicle. Also called 'Pink Star'.
