Description
Tree to 15m. Leaves ovate to ovate elliptic, 4-7x2.5-3.5cm, acuminate, base rounded or subcordate, margins doubly serrate, scattered pubescence persisting in vein axils; petiole crimson, pubescent, to 1.2cm. Fruit in clusters to 15cm, usually trilobed. (DS350) Distinctive points are, long slender apex of leaf, loose fruit raceme, and small bracts with a long central lobe. Plants 40-50' tall.(DS 14)
