Description

Fast growing tree on various soil types, has dark green foliage and is tolerant of drought, pollution, soil compaction and restricted root space. Tends towards a stiff oblong-rounded head, 50' x 35'. "Should make a good tree for heavily urbanized areas. Based on my observations, it is not a very handsome tree and is completely lacking in the grace, beauty and dignity of American Elm." -Michael Dirr
