Description
Tree reaching 15m in height; young branchlets subglabrous to glabrous; leaves 20-24cm long, 10cm wide, apex narrower than on Q. prinus, margin irregularly lobed, lobes deeper than on Q. prinus, glabrous or pubescent beneath; acorn capsule encloses more of the acorn than on Q. prinus.
