Weak stemmed, glandular-hairy perennial to 40cm. Leaves ovate to narrowly ovate. Inflorescence loose, with few to many large flowers; calyx 1.5-2cm; petal limb 1-1.5cm, very deeply 4-fid, crimson, claw long, corneal scales conspicuous.
