Description
Each upright, spiky leaf is striped horizontally with brightest gold, creating an effect that is almost spotted on compact, symmetrical plants. A very slow grower, this neat, mid-size Miscanthus never gets out of hand or looks rangy. Its foliage remains upright, elegant, and very symmetrical, with a deep green base and burgundy plumes in late fall. This plant reaches 4 to 5' tall and 20" wide after 5 years growth.
