Description

Perennial, reaching 18" to 24" in height; leaves basal, forming rosettes, obovate, the spring leaveslyrate-pinnatifid to sinuate, the later summer leaves nearly entire. Inflorescence mostly scapose, simple or branched, the corolla 3/4" to 1 1/2" long, violet, the upper lip straight, much shorter than the lower lip.
