Description

To 1m. Branches terete, densly pubescent. Leaves to 7cm, sub-sessile, ovate to oblong-lanceolate, acuminate, serrate, pubescent throughout, coloring well in autumn. Flowers lemon-yellow, often becoming red-yellow, in crowded cymes forming terminal panicles; corolla lobes equalling corolla tube. Capsules 6.5mm. SE US.
