Description
This species is common at higher elevations of Emei Shan in Sichuan Province, where it grows with Paris bashanensis. Similar in appearance to a more robust form of P. thibetica, with elegant whorls of subsessile foliage atop stems to 18", this species possesses amongst the longest petals found in this genus. The golden thread-like corolla can extend to 6" or more, while the green, persistent sepals to 2".
