Description

(Description for species) Similar to D. cneorum, but calyx tube longer and leaves with involute margins and grouped in apical clusters. Evergreen, dwarf, much-branched procumbent shrub to 20cm, young shoots ascending, older branches spreading. Leaves to 2cm, alternate, clustered at branch ends, linear to oblanceolate, tips obtuse, margins involute, deep green, glossy, coriaceous, sometimes pubescent beneath. Flowers very fragrant in terminal clusters of 3-8 or more; calyx rose pink, downy , tube to 2cm, limb 1cm diameter, lobes ovate-oblong, fruit grey-white, not fleshy.
