Description

Plants to 11" tall by 29" wide. Leaves are 4 3/8" long by 3 1/8" wide; 1/8" wide, white margin that produces an occasional gray green streak into the gold center; shiny underside; ovate blade; slight corrugation; thin substance; 7 vein pairs. Flowers in mid July to early August; pale purple; 2" long by 1 1/4" wide; scapes 11-19"; sparse pod formation. Walters Gardens registered 'Platinum Tiara' as a sport of 'Golden Scepter' in 1987.
