Flowers are lavender, held on 16"-34" tall scapes, effective in July. Registered with the AHS in 1979 by Peter Ruh for Paul Hofer, this was originally developed by Cynthia Tompkins in the 1920's and has been sold under a variety of names including fortunei 'Aureo-marmorata', 'Moorheimii' and 'Spinners'.
