Description
Plants reach 32" in height and 70" in width. Leaves are 16" long and 12" wide, deep blue-green aging to dark green by mid-summer with a thick bloom on both upper and lower surfaces, the blade broadly oblong-ovate with a long distinct tip, moderately wavy margins, slight corrugation, and thick substance with 16 vein pairs. Flowers are near-white with a pale lavender midrib, 2 1/2" long, held in very dense clusters well above the foliage on 36"-44" tall scapes in July. One of the finest large, blue-leaved hostas. Similar types include 'Snowden'.
