Description
A large broad mounded plant to 26" tall by 67" wide. Leaves are 17.5" long by 10.25" wide; medium green with a shiny top and very shiny underside; blade broadly oblong-ovate with a slighly lobed base and long tip; whole blade wavy and tending to droop downward from the midrib; no courrugation; smooth texture; thick substance; 13 vein pairs. Flowers from July to August; deep lavender; petal margin whitish halfway from the tip to the base; 2 7/8" long by 2" wide; open funnel shape with petals reflexed at the tips; scapes 36-48" high; 5-10 scapes per clump; clustered in the top 7" of each scape; sparse seed pod formation with few viable seeds.
