Description

A sterile hybrid between Pinellia pedatisecta and P. tripartita 'Atropurpurea', discovered as a chance seedling by Richard Weaver, founder of We-Du Nursery. It is substantially larger than either parent, and puts up a succession of inflorescences for most of the summer. The flowers resemble the P. pedatisecta parents in form, but are larger and more open, and have a distinct purplish flush inside the spathe.
