Description

Plants procumbent or very low, strigose-pubescent. Leaves orbicular in outline, palmately 5-7-parted, the divisions lobed or incised. Flowers profuse, deeply cup-shaped, to 4.5-6.5cm across, cerise-red with white base, borne singly on elongated pedicels in spring and early summer.
