Description

To 4.5'; hardy to -15 degrees F.; midseason blooming; ARS rating 4/2-3/3. Flowers light lavender-blue with a striking purple flare, very frilly edges, held in tight conical trusses. Glossy dark green leaves tending to roll under; plant wider than tall. Grows in sun or shade; propagates easily. A.M. (RHS) 1933; F.C.C. (RHS) 1958; A.G.M. (RHS) 1969.
