Description

To 75cm. Stems densely tufted, erect, flimsy, grey-green. Leaf blades involute and filiform or flat and braoder, acute, to 17.5cm, grooved, ligules to 2mm, split. Panicles spike-like, nodding, cylindric, 15x1cm, silky, pale green or tinged purple; spikelets subsessile, elliptic-oblong, to 0.5cm; glumes ovate, acute, to 0.8cm; lemma narrowly ovate, acute, to 0.5cm, silky white-ciliate.
