Description

Wide-spreading shrub with golden foliage reaching 4' to 6' (to 10') in height, the spread often twice the height; branches form a rather attractive, crooked, flexible mass at maturity. Flowers fragrant, yellow, borne 6 to 12 together in a 1" to 2" long, pendulous raceme in April. Leaves emerge a rich vinous purple, and age to blue-green.
