Description
Very like H. sieboldii but with leaves opposite on short petioles, stems more lax, 10-12cm high forming a bushy habit. Stems to 30cm long, procumbent, red-brown. Leaves rounded to spathulate, slightly crenate, strongly blue-grey pruinose with reddish-purple margins. Flowers open pinkish-magenta, aging to carmine-rose, held in crowded, leafy cymes, effective in August and September.
