Description
Vigorous, rapid grower with fastigiate form; very hardy. Blooms when only 2' tall, and is floriferous. White flowers are larger than those of M. kobus (DS 175). Selected by Brian Mulligan at the University of Washington, Seattle, WA from a group of seedlings obtained from Mr. K. Wada of Yokohama, Japan. (DS 175 & DS 28).
