Description

Perennial to 35cm. Leaves 20-30 x 3-5cm, oblanceolate to lanceolate, deeply pinnatifid, obtuse or more or less acute, pale geeen. Capitula 3.5-4cm diameter; scape c30cm or more, more or less erect, glabrous, with soft white hairs beneath head; phyllaries bright to pale green, outer narrowly oblong-ovate, ascending, with a small horn-like appendage; florets white, rarely pale yellow. Fruit c4mm, naroowly oblong-obovoid, pale brown-yellow.
