Description
Lemon Meringue’ is an upright hybrid false indigo that typically grows to 36” tall. As the cultivar name suggests, this plant is noted for producing bright yellow flowers. Flowers are lupine-like and appear in a late spring bloom in racemes atop erect charcoal flower stems extending well above a foliage mound of clover-like, trifoliate, bluish-green leaves. Flowers give way to attractive seed heads which persist into fall.
