Description

A form with excellent lustrous rugose foliage and arching habit. Has performed well in the Midwest and has at times come through the winter with foliage in good condition. The author has seen this cultivar in flower in October on the Purdue campus in West Lafayette, IN. Plants 8-10', possibly 15' in height, with an equal spread. Flowers borne in 3-4" wide, flat-topped cymes in spring; fruit a drupe, reddish changing to black, effective from late August into September.
