New signs cropped up around Cornell Botanic Gardens in summer 2018—markers for sites on Cornell University’s Sustainable Landscapes Trail.
Cornell Professor Emeritus David K. Bandler ’55, MPS ’71, and his wife Lenore have established a new endowment at Cornell Botanic Gardens for the Fischer Old-Growth Forest Natural Area support the continued conservation, maintenance, and enhancement of the entire 100-acre natural area.
A series of 23 pedestrian wayfinding signs now connect North Campus, the Arts and Ag Quads and Cornell Botanic Gardens along Beebe Lake and nearby trails.
