2023: A year celebrating conservation, cultures, and collaborations

As our fiscal year drew to a close in June 2023 our organization grew stronger. Our conservation expertise from our long-term native lawn display became national news. We collaborated with botanic gardens, farmers, and cultural experts to grow and showcase culturally significant plants. Student leadership and learning was fostered through meaningful, mission-relevant projects. And we strengthened our budget to ensure long-term financial stability and growth.

Work continues to support and enliven each of our strategic goals: cultivate and conserve plants the cultures they sustain (Grow); nurture the unique and personal connection people have to plants (Inspire); and create alliances to collectively fight the loss of biocultural diversity (Connect).

The positive impact we have on Cornell students and graduates, people from diverse backgrounds, and our planet relies on the financial support of donors. Our volunteers, students, and staff, all thank you for helping us create a world of beauty, diversity, and hope.
