Description

Deciduous, vase-shaped, multi-stemmed shrub reaching 10'-12' in height and 8'-10' in width; more ornamental than the typical form of the species. Foliage is slightly pendulous and held on colorful red petioles; flowers are creamy-white, effective from late May through mid-June, and are followed by abundant blue-black fruits. Fall color is a blend of yellow, orange, red and burgundy.
