Description

Stems to 1.5m, often flushed purple, sometimes rather glaucous, usually glabrous and glossy. Leaves 10-15cm, oblong to oblong-lanceolate or narowly triangular, entire to dentate, glabrous below. Inflorescence paniculate, branches erect to ascending, 10-30cm, glandular-pubescent; calyx 6-7mm; corolla 2.5-3cm, white or flushed very pale violet, generally with purple nectar-guides within, tube dilated abruptly near middle; staminode hirsute.
