Description

Small tree, reaching 20' in height; bark ash-gray; leaves with silvery hairs; flowers white, borne in tightly packed corymbs in late June and early July, continuing to flower sporadically into October; fruits blue-black contrasting nicely with the reddish pedicels and inflorescence branches. Named ffor JohnDunbar, Assistant and then Superitendent of Rochester Parks (1891-1925).
