Description

This plant was selected by Berthold Nursery, Woodstock, Illinois, from a private residence in Woodstock. This mature male specimen has a strong central leader, excellent branching character, a uniform oval crown and good yellow fall color. The parent tree, measuring 50' in height with a 35' to 40' spread, is reported to be a seedling given to the original owner of the residence in the early 1900s by the founder of D. Hill Nursery, West Dundee, Illinois.
