Description
A small to medium-sized tree, often of bushy habit with thick, reddish-brown bark. Needles in 2's or occasionally 3's, to 7.5 cm long, rigid and twisted, sharply-pointed, densely crowded on the branchlets. Cones to 9 cm long, often remaining intact on the tree for several years.
